Zedoary Rhizome … Safety & Interactions
E Zhu · Rhizoma Curcumae
Use with caution. Practitioner review recommended before use.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy
- Heavy active bleeding without a clear blood-stasis rationale
- Very weak constitution without substantial stagnation or accumulation
Cautions
- E Zhu is a strong blood-moving herb and should not be confused with small culinary turmeric amounts used in food.
- Much of the antitumor and anti-inflammatory literature remains preclinical and does not justify unsupervised long-term use.
- Because E Zhu trade material spans more than one authenticated Curcuma source species, identity control still matters.
